Introduction and Acceptance

General terms and acceptance of service

These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your use of renovation and construction services provided by Christos Feinaj ('Company', 'we', 'us', 'our').

By engaging our services, you ('Client', 'you', 'your') agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Company and supersede all prior agreements, whether written or oral.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not proceed with our services.

Services Description

Detailed description of our renovation services

Law 4030/2011, Building Regulation

Our company provides comprehensive renovation and construction services including:

Complete home renovations: Kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces

Interior design and decoration: Space planning, material selection

Construction works: Extensions, structural modifications

Electrical and plumbing installations: Complete system upgrades

Painting and finishing: Interior and exterior applications

Project management: Planning, coordination, supervision

All services are provided in accordance with current building codes and safety regulations.

Detailed service specifications will be outlined in individual project contracts.

Contracts and Agreements

Contract formation and modification procedures

Civil Code 173-178, Consumer Protection Law

Individual project contracts must be signed before work commences:

Written contract required for all projects over €500

Contract must specify scope, timeline, materials, and costs

Both parties must sign and date the agreement

Client has 14-day cooling-off period for consumer contracts

Contract modifications:

- Must be agreed in writing by both parties

- Additional costs must be approved before implementation

- Timeline adjustments require mutual consent

All contracts are governed by Greek law and EU consumer protection directives.

Pricing and Payment Terms

Transparent pricing structure and payment schedules

Tax Code, Law 4308/2014

Our pricing structure is transparent and competitive:

Free initial consultation and quote preparation

Fixed price contracts available for defined scopes

Hourly rates apply for undefined or changing scopes

Material costs charged at cost plus 15% handling fee

Payment terms:

- 30% deposit required before work begins

- Progress payments at agreed milestones

- Final payment upon satisfactory completion

- Late payment interest: 8% annually

All prices include VAT at current rates. Currency: EUR only.

Responsibilities and Obligations

Duties of both the company and client

Company responsibilities:

Provide services with professional skill and care

Use quality materials and proper construction techniques

Maintain required licenses and insurance coverage

Complete work within agreed timeframes

Ensure worksite safety and cleanliness

Client responsibilities:

Provide accurate project information and access

Make timely payments as per agreement

Obtain necessary permits (unless specified otherwise)

Ensure property access during work hours

Inform of any hazardous materials or conditions

Both parties must communicate promptly regarding any issues or changes.

Warranties and Guarantees

Coverage and limitations of our guarantees

Consumer Protection Law, Civil Code 554

We provide comprehensive warranties on our work:

Workmanship warranty: 2 years from completion

Structural work warranty: 5 years for major constructions

Electrical/plumbing systems: 1 year full warranty

Materials warranty: As per manufacturer specifications

Warranty coverage includes:

- Defects in workmanship and installation

- Material failures due to improper installation

- Structural integrity issues

Warranty exclusions:

- Normal wear and tear

- Damage from misuse or neglect

- Modifications by other contractors

- Force majeure events

Liability and Insurance

Liability limitations and insurance coverage

Insurance Law 4364/2016, Civil Code

The Company maintains comprehensive insurance coverage:

Public liability insurance: €1,000,000 coverage

Professional indemnity insurance: €500,000 coverage

Workers' compensation insurance: Full coverage

Property damage insurance: Project-specific coverage

Liability limitations:

- Total liability limited to project contract value

- No liability for indirect or consequential damages

- Client responsible for pre-existing conditions

- Force majeure events exclude liability

All claims must be reported within 30 days of discovery.

Disputes resolved through Greek courts or arbitration.

Contract Termination

Conditions and procedures for contract termination

Consumer Protection Law, Civil Code 388

Either party may terminate the contract under specific conditions:

Client termination rights:

14-day cooling-off period for consumer contracts

Convenience termination with 7 days written notice

Immediate termination for Company breach

Company termination rights:

Non-payment after 30-day notice period

Client breach of material terms

Impossibility of performance due to client actions

Termination procedures:

- Written notice required from terminating party

- Payment for completed work and materials

- Return of unused materials to client

- Site restoration to safe condition

Dispute Resolution

Procedures for resolving conflicts and disputes

Civil Procedure Code, ADR Law 4640/2019

We encourage amicable resolution of all disputes:

Initial resolution process:

Direct communication between parties

Written complaint submission within 30 days

Company response within 14 business days

Good faith negotiation attempt

Formal dispute resolution:

- Mediation through recognized mediation service

- Arbitration for disputes under €20,000

- Court proceedings for larger disputes

Applicable law and jurisdiction:

- Greek law governs all contracts

- Athens courts have exclusive jurisdiction

- EU consumer protection rights apply

All proceedings conducted in Greek language.
